SCOBEY. DANIELS COUNTY. MONTANA. THURSDAY, DECEMBER 7. 1*2 THE LEADER CAN NOW GIVE BETTER SERVICE Last week the Leader, though two days late came out the type all set from its new linotype machine. The installation of this machine was found necessary to take care of the large amount of work done in this office, and with it the Leader can now boast of having one of the most complete and up-to-date printing plants in the northeastern part of the state, in fact, it has the only Mergenthaler —the original linotype slug casting machine—in Daniels county. As this machine has cost us quite a sum of money, we feel that it is money well invested and our confidence in the future of Scobey and Daniels County fully warranted its purchase. In entering the Scobey newspaper field, we did so on business principles and with the sole idea of becoming a permanent business institution of the town. Our business and subscription list has steadily increased and with our added equipment we will be better able to give our readers a better newspaper, giving the news of this locality in an interesting manner
