We’re Working to Earn Your Loyalty and Friendship . . . Be Here For Us & We’ll Continue To Be Here For You! Handran's Home C enter It seemed like only yesterday when Handran’s Home Center was celebrating its grand opening at 103 Main Street in Scobey on July 4, 2008 (priorly the business was run out of Handran’s home garage just west of Scobey from February 28, 2008 to July 4, 2008). Eighteen years and later that same space is now occupied by Pat and Marta Lund’s The Body Building/Lund Chiropractic. Handran’s Home Center, owned and operated by Steven and Liana Handran, didn’t move far as they headed west by one block and set up shop in the old Getschel’s grocery store building at 7 Daniels Street. “Our biggest expansion in those 18 years has been in flooring and carpet,” said Liana. “Our flooring department has expanded dramatically, with all kinds of tile. We have 25 different types of flooring and now do flooring installations. We do stock a lot of flooring and carpet.” “I want to extend our gratitude to all the consumers who FURNITURE AND MORE —you also find appliances, flooring, paint, etc. Below is owner Liana Handran and part of her crew that loads furniture, unloads, moves from place to place and more! — Leader Photos, mike have shopped locally,” she continued. “It’s a big deal when those jobs are done locally.” Liana mentioned Steven and his crew have done some major flooring jobs for businesses in Scobey and are very thankful those businesses shopped at home (one of them was the Scobey School in the past decade). Everyone needs to realize Handran’s Home Center is your one-stop shop. As soon as a local contractor gets the shell in place of a newly-built house, the rest can all be purchased at Handran’s Home Center, whose twitter handle is hhcllc. In fact, one of its vendors, Fargo Glass and Paint Company of Fargo, North Dakota, can set you up with sundry items, primer, paint, stain, rubber flooring, carpet cushion/ tack strip, underlayment, windows, entry doors, roofing, siding, mounting blocks, window blinds/shades, cold weather items, shower doors/custom glass, commercial hardware, doors and frames and other specialties. The business can be reached by calling 406-487-2050. It carries brand names such as Ashley, Best, Sunny Designs and Flexsteel furniture, including recliners, couches, sectionals, entertainment centers and bedroom and dining sets. Whirlpool, Kitchen Aid, Maytag and Amana are the appliance lines featuring washers, dryers, ranges, dishwashers, refrigerators, microwave ovens and freezers. Over the first 18 years in business Handran’s Home Center (Instagram: hhc2050) has always been on the hunt for products to fill in, meaning the store continually has to keep finding new products to keep their customers coming back for more, which, through the past 210 months has included a large variety of clocks, wall decor, a large gift selection, flooring, Benjamin Moore paint, kitchen cabinets by Starmark, kitchen design services, Schluter Systems for waterproofing bathrooms. “There are tons of products out there that we want to get in here,” said Liana. “The opportunities are endless.” “Six years ago (the logistics and cost of shipping) freight was our biggest problem but now the problem is competing with internet shopping,” Liana said. “It is very real still on both accounts but we love our location with the larger showroom and floor space, love the loading dock, which is my favorite feature, and love the big parking lot.” Stop in and see for yourself from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Give yourself plenty of time to look around because the place is chock-full of quality products. If WE don’t help our community WHO will? These fine businesses offer their thanks and appreciation to all of our past and present customers and clients! How can we serve you better?
