We’re Working to Earn Your Loyalty and Friendship . . . Be Here For Us & We’ll Continue To Be Here For You! PRO CO-OP AG CENTERS FOUR BUTTES Here’s to a prosperous upcoming growing season from the entire crew of PRO CO-OP Ag Center, headquartered in Scobey. PRO CO-OP Ag Center, which employs 55 full-time, 3 part-time and 20 seasonal workers throughout its system, has eight locations spread out across the northern tier of the Montana counties of Valley, Daniels and Sheridan. They include, going from west to east: Opheim (406-762-3231); Richland station (406-724-3353) and fertilizer plant (406-724-3357); Peerless (406-893-4398); Four Buttes (406-783-5519); Scobey’s Daniels Street location (406-487-2741) formerly known as Grain Growers; Truck and Repair Division at 32 Chapman Road in Scobey (406-487-2660), formerly known as Carriers; system-wide Main Office (406-487-2612) on eastern outskirts of Scobey along Highway 5, which was built in 2017; east-of-Madoc fertilizer plant (406-4872812), Flaxville service station (406-474-2231), Antelope fertilizer plant (406-286-5363) and Antelope agronomy office (406-286-5263). The big news at PRO CO-OP Ag Center these past few years has been its newest fertilizer plant, located just north of Antelope townsite. It is a 16,750-ton facility. The PRO CO-OP Ag Center employees previously stationed in Plentywood were moved into this new facility in Antelope. It will cover the east side of PRO CO-OP Ag Center’s territory. In addition, PRO CO-OP Ag Center purchased a few years ago the Northern Oilfield buildings located across Highway 16 near the new fertilizer plant. It is where the cooperative sells its chemicals. Those facilities will also be used as its transportation department and shop. As noted prior, the regional agribusiness also has fertilizer plants strategically located in Madoc, a 12,500-ton facility on the north side of Highway 5 eight miles east of Scobey, and in Richland, a 9,300ton facility. Having a fertilizer plant on each end of the cooperative’s service area and one in the middle serves current customers very efficiently. Now is the time to start working with PRO CO-OP Ag Center on fertility, seed treatment and weed control. Don’t forget this about PRO CO-OP Ag Center: if you pay in advance you earn a 6 percent premium or 6 percent discount for cash at the time of purchase! One more thing not to forget about PRO CO-OP Ag Center is the many other services it offers, including: bulk fuel delivery, 24-hour pump servive for fuel, feed, chemicals, an agronomy department, complete ag application service (spreaders and sprayers) and full commodity marketing (call 762-3236). PRO CO-OP Ag Center’s location in downtown Scobey, previously known as the Grain Growers Oil Company building at 3 Daniels Street, has a plethora of practical products on its shelves, such as lawn mowers, chain saws, high performance industrial tools, batteries, extension PEERLESS RICHLAND cords, fuses, link chains, mud flaps, gas cans, duct tape, electric OPHEIM tape, rope, cleaning supplies, booster cables, motor oil, springs, air compressors, power drills, shop vacs, welding supplies, brooms, rakes, picks, shovels, nuts and bolts, fencing supplies, spray paint, brushes, nails, screws and a whole lot more. Clip and save the third paragraph with all the PRO CO-OP Ag Center telephone numbers listed, it will come in handy some day as a quick reference when needing it quickly!
