Celebration o f Dear Friends of Healthcare: The Celebration of Lights is an annual event for the Daniels Memorial Healthcare Foundation, and is observed from Thanksgiving to the first of January. Memorial donations from the holiday event are used for medical equipment or services that benefit the Daniels Memorial Healthcare Center. As a visual and representation of each memorial given, we are once again displaying large colorful Christmas lights on the hedge outside of DMHC on the Main Street side. Your tribute to your loved one will not only be placed in the local newspaper at the completion of the event, but will also be posted online on the Foundation’s Facebook page for you to share with family and friends. Funds raised this year from memorials will benefit Long-Term Care within the Healthcare Center. The Foundation will be purchasing four new essential wheelchairs, one pressure redistribution air-mattress and two point-of-care glucose meters. Total cost for all items is around $4000. u You can dedicate a light to your loved one by donating $10 for each person/name you would like to honor, recognize or memorialize.
