Students of the Month at Scobey Schools Our high school student of the month is freshman Bryce Handran. Bryce’s parents are Gary and Jonna Handran. He is active in cross country, track and student council. Bryce’s favorite subject is shop and his favorite teacher is Mr. States. Bryce’s role model is his dad, and when he graduates he would like to be a farmer. Outside of school Bryce likes to work. He has one sister, Mia. Our elementary student of the month is 5th grader Esmeralda Sones. Her parents are David and Alicia Sones. Esmeralda enjoys playing basketball and tag and learning at school. Her favorite subject is science and Mrs. Backman is her favorite teacher. Esmeralda’s role model is Hailey Johnson, and when she grows up she wants to be a farmer/rancher. Esmeralda likes to clean, do chores, play and be involved in 4H. Esmeralda’s siblings are Sandra, Hazel, Delbert, Donald and Sarah. Our junior high student of the month is 7th grader Madison Thompson. Her parents are Nate and Heather Thompson and Kirsten Thompson. Her siblings are Blaine, McKenna, Bentley, Isaac, Levi, Ruth, Broczen, Chandler, Olivia and Brynlie. Madison is active in volleyball and basketball. Her favorite subject is math and her favorite teacher is Mr. States. Madison’s role model is her dad. When she gets older, Madison wants to be a doctor.
