BOARD OF TRUSTEES SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 1 DANIELS COUNTY, MONTANA

REGULAR MEETING Open Session: June 9, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. in the Music Room

MembersPresent: TimTande, DuWayne Wilson, Logan Olson and Garrett Lund;Leif Handran absent

Administrative Staff Present: Greg Hardy, Superintendent; Caitlin Buer, Principal; Colleen Drury, District Clerk

Others Present: none Chairman Tim Tande called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Roll was taken and it was established that a quorum was present. Patrons & Visitors were recognized.

On motion by DuWayne Wilson and seconded by Logan Olson, the minutes from the May 12, 2026 Regular meetings were approved unanimously as presented.

Staff Reports: The Principal and Superintendent reports were discussed and are attached and made a part of these minutes by reference.

Committee Reports: There were no Committee Reports.

Finance: On motion by Logan Olson and seconded by DuWayne Wilson, Claims #20114 - #20154, dated May 9, 2026 – June 5, 2026 in the amount of $75,134.38, were approved unanimously as presented.

On motion by DuWayne Wilson and seconded by Garrett Lund, the Activities Report for the month of June, 2026 was approved unanimously as presented.

New Business - The following items were presented for consideration and possible action: A) Resolution for disposal of abandoned property. Logan Olson moved to approve the second reading to resolve that the attached list of items, which are the property of School District No. 1, have become abandoned, obsolete, undesirable or unsuitable for the purposes of the district, and to consider th...
