Dirty Shame Show… Never Disappoints!

It was yet another fun and fantastic showing of the local Dirty Shame Show, held Saturday and Sunday (June 26-27) in the historic Rex Theatre on the grounds of Pioneer Town on Scobey’s westside.

The big question is this: when Saturday’s 1:00 p.m. show, the first of four over the weekend, was just getting started, band member Lee Cook, down in the pit and on the tenor saxophone, extended his hand up with a Federal Reserve Note to Master of Ceremonies Chance Hammar, who was on the stage. Was Cook buying some good words from the emcee to spread across the audience about the band? And another thing: was that a C-note or a onedollar bill?

Joking aside, and there was more jokes to arrive during the 2026 opener, it was another great four-show run performed mostly by local folks with a few out of county performers and band members!
