Scobey Girls & Boys Do Fairview Quad
It was the triangular that turned into a quadangular.
Fairview was playing host on Friday, May 8, right next to the Starr Field used for football.
The original three teams of the host Fairview Warriors and visitors Culbertson Cowboys/Cowgirls and Scobey Spartans somewhere along the line added a fourth team from next door to the east—Richardton-Taylor of North Dakota.
First place finishers for the Scobey girls included sophomore Hazel Sones in the 100 (14.63) and 200
(30.87) and sophomore Ava Stentoft in the javelin (106--
8).
First-place finishers for the Scobey boys were: senior Mikael Sondergaard in the 100 (12.03); senior Konner Oller in the 400 (55.01); Reid Cromwell in the 3200
(10:59.66); 4x100 relay team of Quinn Axtman, Liam Leininger, Curtis Leibrand and Cam Cromwell (49.04).
