BASKETBALL — That is a lot of games! The Scobey sixth grade girls’ basketball team, coached by Alycia Nathe and Steve Berreth, the Leader reader has spotted in the sports section over the past few months, have been hooping it up nonstop since the middle of October, starting during the junior high season. Then they played their Jamboree season. Then it was five more weeks of spring basketball tournaments. That is a large heap of games for a bunch of sixth graders, but they must truly love the game to keep marching forward and keep honing their hoop skills. On the team are Alyson Arlian, Carly Berreth, Ashton Cromwell, Thandie Flickinger, Alice Gunderman, Avery Hansen, Harper Hansen, J’Sandra Kramer and Colby Pankrantz with Raven Kramer as manager.
