OFFICIATING — How much? A look at what Montana Officials Association members get paid when officiating Montana High School Association sports. Regular Season: Basketball: Varsity, 2-person crew $80, 3-person crew $80, Subvarsity, 2-person (including shortened contests) $60; i3-person $45. Football: Varsity $90, Subvarsity $70; Soccer: Varsity, Referee $75, Assistant referee $75, Varsity 4th official (as needed), $35; Subvarsity, Referee/Assistant Referee, $55, Subvarsity 4th official (as needed), $35 (Soccer assignors will be paid a $5 per official, per game fee (not including 4th officials). Pools will send an invoice at the end of each season with game counts.
