Jaymie Frederick 1958 – 2026

Jaymie Ann Frederick, 67, of Scobey, Montana, passed away suddenly on March 7, 2026 in Los Angeles, California, while traveling with her son Jeff and grandson Max Jones.

Jaymie was born in Knoxville, Tennessee on August 3, 1958, to Floyd and Anna Friedman. She was raised primarily in Knoxville alongside her younger siblings, Angela and Floyd Friedman. She graduated from Gibbs High School in 1977, and later received a scholarship to the University of Tennessee School of Music, where she studied voice performance, further fueling her love for the Tennessee Volunteers and the color orange – GO VOLS!

After leaving the University of Tennessee, Jaymie became a police officer with the Knox County Sheriff’s Department, where she discovered a passion for private investigation.
