The Connection Between Basketball And Farming Communities

Throughout this recent series of columns I’ve written, I’ve wanted to show the connection between Montana State Class C basketball and the dozens of farming communities throughout the state, more specifically one farming community, that of Daniels County. I could never farm worth a lick so I had to find another path in life, but the profession and way of life of the farmer is my favorite in all the world because it’s about our connection to the land and, more importantly, because my father was a farmer.
