$149,500 State Tax Credit For Scobey Schools

Wednesday, January 21, $7.2 million in tax credits were available to be claimed statewide. The first come, first served tax credits issued, were gone in 7 minutes and 7 seconds.

The Innovative Educational Program, State of Montana, allows people, businesses and organizations to donate to the school of their choice for a State tax credit.

Scobey Schools K-12 received $149,500 in qualified donations this year, nearly doubling the $76,904 taken in last year. They moved up a notch from the fourteenth top recipient to number thirteen. All of it from ten generous donors. Lustre Elementary received $10,000 from three donors.
