Scobey Looking  To Advance Out  Of District Event
SCOBEY SENIOR KENNADI CROMWELL, nursing a very bad knee injury during this 2025 volleyball season, was given the opportunity to serve the first ball during Saturday’s home match against defending Class C state champion Circle and she took advantage of the opportunity. When her first and only play of the entire volleyball season occurred, things became emotional, and off the court she went, back to the bench. Whoever the schedulemaker was for the Scobey girls’ varsity volleyball team in this 2025 season, the message to you is: thanks a million!

The Spartans (6-4 1C, 11-5 overall) concluded their regular season this past weekend with a pair of District 1 conference matches against the top two teams.

Depite being defeated both times they competed well in both and are tourney-time ready.

The District 1C Tournament begins at Saco High School Thursday, October 30, and the Spartans meet Frazer at 2 p.m. with the winner facing North Country later that evening at 6 p.m. The top three finishers advance to the East C Divisional Tournament the following week (see the KCGM-sponsored bracket advertisement elsewhere in this issue to follow all the action).

After defeating Class B Poplar 25-8, 25-12, 25-14 on Tuesday, October 21, the Spartans headed west to Hinsdale for a big matchup with the North Country Mavericks.<...
