VOLLEYBALL — Crunching the numbers: Not including tournament scores the Scobey High School girls’ varsity volleyball team scored 1,166 points on offense for an average of 23.7 points per game (do not confuse that with a match, which can last anywhere from 3-5 games). Defensively, the Lady Spartans allowed 744 points for a 15.1 per game average. Breaking those numbers down to matches, the Scobey girls averaged 77.7 points on offense and allowed 49.6 points on defense. How about that!
