BASKETBALL — A look back: From the 201718 Scobey boys’ basketball season to 2020-21 the Spartans posted a 101-3 (.971) record. In 2018 they lost 76-71 to Arlee in the State C semifinals and lost to Melstone 46-39 in the consolation to place fourth. In 2019 they went 25-1, losing to Arlee 63-57 in the first round then defeating Plenty Coups 74-61, Melstone 47-42 and Fairview 51-43 to place third. In 2020 they went 25-0 and shared the State C title with Fairview due to health issues across the nation. In 2021 they went 26-0 and won the State C at Lockwood High School. Fourth place, third, shared first and outright first in four seasons. That’s beautiful basketball!
