Sponsored by Cromwell’s Convenience & Petroleum MISCELLANEOUS — A look ahead: The Montana High School Association, which is always great about getting the word out to the media, sent its 2025-26 calendar for interscholastic activities. Here is a look at some of the events pertaining to our northeast corner of the state:

• October 25, state cross country meet, Missoula;

• Oct. 30-November 1, district volleyball tournaments for Classes B and C;

• Oct. 31-Nov. 1, first round football playoffs, Classes AA, A, B (all 11 player) and C (8-player and 6-player);

• Nov. 6-8; divisional volleyball tournaments for all classes;

• Nov. 7-8, quarter final football playoffs for Classes AA, A, B and C (8-player and 6-player);
