BASKETBALL — Now that’s rich of them! At the recent Women’s National Basketball Association All-Star Game/Weekend in Indianapolis many of the players were wearing t-shirts saying this on the front: “Pay Us What You Owe Us.” That’s pretty rich from a so-called professional sports league that has never—NEVER!—turned a profit in three decades of existence (zombie company?). If it wasn’t for its sugar daddy, the National Basketball Association, subsidizing the DWNBA (Delusional Women’s National Basketball Association) every year, this league would have died of a fast death in its initial few seasons.
