Grain Elevator At High Risk Of Being Shuttered

Two Montana representatives of Farmers Elevator, Division of Harvest States, located at 7 North Main on the north side of the old railroad bed, were in Scobey Wednesday, July 23, and the locals attending were not pleasedwiththemessagethey brought with them.

Attended by approximately 55 people at the Scobey Saddle Club building with a 2 p.m. start and lasting about 50 minutes, Dave Miller, General Manager of Cenex Harvest States Farmer’s Elevator in Circle, and Keith Schumacher of CHS Great Fallsmadeapresentationwhy the Scobey facility needs to be shut down.
