Commissioners of Two Counties Ask For Road– A reolution was passed unanimously by the Daniels County Board of Commissioners to designate the 16mile stretch north from Scobey to the Canadian border as a primary, hard surface state highway.
Endorsement of the proposed project states “there is apparent need for an all weather from Scobey north to the customs port of entry at East Poplar,” to connect on the south with Highway No. 13 at Scobey, and on the north with an all-weather highway under construction from Moose Jaw, Sask., to the East Poplar port.
