Scobey Girls Win 5 Then Lose One To Tough Circle Team

The Scobey High School girls’ basketball team hit the road to Glendive last weekend as their summer basketball schedule winds down.

The Lady Spartans posted a 5-1 record in last weekend’s action, which began with a 29-7 win over the Wolf Point Wolves.

Kayla Carney led the Scobey girls in scoring with 10 points followed by Emery Rouse with eight, Chloe Handran 6, McKeena Nieskens 3 and Claire Lekvold 2. Scobey led 17-7 at halftime.
