Renewed Interest Shown Here for National Guard– Several organizations are more interested in the encouragement of an organized national guard unit in Scobey.

Prime requirements for establishment of a guard unit in any community are: 1. Adequate facilities to house equipment and provide for meeting places; 2. A minimum number of enlistments.

Gen. S. H. Mitchell, Montana’s Adjutant General has been requested to call in Scobey to confer with representatives from various groups here.
