New Music Arrangement At Scobey Schools

Arrangements have been made at Scobey Schools to have music available again in the school since the music teacher who had signed earlier this summer did not show.

Junior high and high school class rooms have been overflowing as those who had signed up for music this school year had to be absorbed by other elective classes.

At the end of last week another music instructor has accepted the position. Christian Feliciano is in the process of moving to Scobey from the Philippines. Hopes are to have him in the school system soon.

Until then, Brenda Cook has agreed to fill in and start music classes for the junior high and high school, beginning August 30. She is filling in on a temporary basis until his arrival.

Feliciano has a Master’s degree in Teaching Music and Arts at University of St. La Salle and a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education Major in Music, Arts, P.E. and Health at Tarlac State University.

He’s taught eight years in Secondary Public School and three years in Primary and Secondary Private School as a Music and Arts teacher in the Philippines.
