The closer the swim meets are to Scobey the more the Scobey kids will be traveling and competing.

That is exactly what occurred when a boat-load of Daniels County competitors did just that last week, all they had to do was travel to Glasgow for its invitational gathering, camp out overnight or just go back home Friday night and return the next morning for day-two competition.

The following two-week travel concerns will be non-existent as the Montana Federation of Swimmers East Divisional Meet is scheduled for Scobey and the State Meet on August

1-2 is set for Plentywood!

In Glasgow, the local Stingrays were the overall team winner by almost

200 points and scored over

1,100 points altogether!

The Stingrays had many High-Point winners over the weekend, including:

• Weston Hardy, in the boys 9-10 division, won the

100 IM, 50 breast and 50 back;

• Nolan Kimball in the boys 9-10 age group captured the 50 free, 100 free and 50 fly;

• Hudson Hardy in the boys 8 and under placed first in the 25 breaststroke and 50 freestyle and second in the

100 IM;

• Logan Fischer in the boys placed second in the 25 backstroke but won the 100 IM and 25 fly;

• The relay teams shone very brightly!
