The Big Muddy All-Star baseball team, comprised of players from (2-2, 17-29, 4.2-7.2) northeast Montana, posted a 2-2 record at the State Tournament in Belgrade.

Coached by Pat Lund and Jason Wolfe of Scobey and Dan Carpenter of Plentywood, the Big Muddy boys opened against the Bozeman Bucks and were dealt a 15-1 loss.

The Bucks plated two runs in the first inning and led the entire game. Big Muddy tallied its only run in the second inning when Landen Waller made it to first base on an error.

The Bozeman boys were just to tough, however, and tallied two runs in the second, third and fourth innings for a 8-1 advantage.
