This isn’t meant as criticism of anyone—mechanical failures happen. It just seemed a little ironic that on Saturday, July 11, as temperatures climbed into the mid-90s, the Scobey swimming pool was closed for the day so installers could replace the pool heater without interruption.

From the looks of it, it was no small project. Boxes covered a large area of the pool deck, and it would have been difficult—if not chaotic—to keep the pool open while the work was underway.
