Stingrays Swim In Lewistown
SCOBEY STINGRAY LOGAN FISCHER had a big day in the water last week in Lewistown by earning a High Point Award in the 8 and under boys’ division. He is pictured with Stingrays Head Coach Luke Cromwell. Below is Hazel Wilson, who swam in the 8 and under 100 freestyle relay with Fischer, Haddie Hansen and Rhett Hansen, placing first. (Hazel, pictured from the Sidney Meet.) Scobey will compete in the Glasgow meet, July 18-19, and then will host the East Divisional Meet July 25-26. The State Meet goes August 1-2 in the Plentywood Swimming Pool.

The Scobey Stingrays of the Montana Federation of Swimmers traveled to the middle of the state to compete in Lewistown.

“Besides it being 110 degrees and only having five swimmers, they swam very well,” said Head Coach Cromwell. “Every kid improved in either one or two races, and Logan Fischer high pointed for the 8 and under boys, taking first in the 25 (meter) free, 25 back and 25 butterfly.”
