Lund And Guest Richardson Are Cannon-Ball Best-Ball Winners

It was a very hot and humid day when the final round of the 31st annual Cannon-Ball Member-Guest Best-Ball Tournament was held at the Scobey Golf Course Sunday, July 12.

It didn’t seem to bother Scobey’s Garrett Lund and his guest, John Richardson of Kentucky, as they won a tiebreaker to capture the championship.

The runnersup were Rob Maher and his long-time guest Court Gatlin of Broadus.

In third were Ryan Harrington and his guest Jonathan Keil of Plentywood, Michael Crandell and his guest Jerod McCrory of Plentywood and Braxton Wolfe and his guest Trey Tankersley.

Day one leaders were Maher and Gatlin with 59 net strokes. Close behind were Spencer Rush and his guest Jack Solberg of Plentywood and Patrick Hardy and his guest Jordan Sanford of neighboring North Dakota. Three strokes back in third place were the Lund-Richardson duo and Scott Wangerin-Derik Ferguson pairing.
