Major Interest In Bank Changes Hands– A transaction was completed last week in which Mrs. B. P. Murphy, pioneer resident of Scobey, sold her interest in the Citizens State Bank of Scobey to M. R. Kloster, who came here in September of 1949 from Hebron, ND to manage the institution as executive vice president and cashier. Dr. T. W. Collinson continues as the other major stockholder in the Scobey banking firm.

Mrs. Murphy first came to Scobey with her husband, the late Patrick B. Murphy, in 1914 from New England, ND and applied for a bank charter in Montana with Mr. and Mrs. Murphy and Hibbard Richardson as the offi...
