Stingrays Place 3rd In Sidney

The Montana Federation of Swimmers Scobey Stingrays journeyed southeast to Sidney and its Svarre Municipal Pool for its annual swim meet get-together, where our locals finished in third place.

While the Stingrays as a team placed third, a trio of Scobey kids emerged as high-point winners:

• Logan Fischer, boys age

8 and under, finished first in the 25 freestyle, 25 backstroke, and 25 butterfly;

• Sophie McGowan, girls

8 and under, finished first in the 25 free, 100 IM and 50 butterfly;

• Harper Hansen, girls age

9-10, first in 50 backstroke,

100 IM and 50 butterfly.
