RICHLAND’S CENTENNIAL PARADE on Saturday drew a large crowd as the community celebrated its 100th anniversary. Nearly 40 parade entries rolled down Main Street, ranging from this homemade bucking machine, horse-drawn wagons to a Corvette and Camaro as well as a collection of beautifully restored classics from the 1930’s, 50’s and ’60s. Hundreds of spectators lined the streets throughout the day, helping make the centennial celebration a memorable success. See Page 13 for the story and more photos.

Former residents, local families and visitors from across the region gathered June 20 to celebrate Richland’s 100th anniversary, filling the small community with activity, memories and fellowship throughout the day.

One of the biggest attractions was the Centennial Parade, which featured more than 40 entries along with numerous horsemen and wagons from the Wagon Train that had camped at the Solberg ranch.
