FOOTBALL — On the road again: Cooper Axtman (SHS ‘26) is a young man on the move these days. First he had to go west to Shelby and help his Scobey High School boys’ golf team capture their third straight Class C state championship. Check! Then on Saturday, June 6, he was in Butte playing in the 42nd annual Bob Cleverley All-Star Football Game, where his Blue team rallied very late in the game to defeat the Red team 24-22. Axtman had a pair of quarterback sacks, the final one leading to an 80-yard fumble return for the game winner, his teammates included Bram Handran and Brecken Maher as well as all three’s high school football head coach Brock Berryhill, who was selected to be an Assistant Coach for the Blue team.
