It wasn’t as big as last year’s 75th anniversary but Nemont Telephone Cooperative, Inc.’s 76th annual meeting on Wednesday, June 10, still drew a big audience.

Held in the big yellow building across the parking lot from the main office on the south end of the campus, there were 386 people attending the Wednesday, June 10, event, with 267 of them being members and 119 guests (there were 579 members/guests attending during last year’s 75th anniversary... also known as the Diamond Jubilee).

During an ordinary year the annual meeting usually hosts around 100-to-125 people so last week’s annual meeting was an extremely good turnout. The doors opened at 5 p.m. for the f...
