We don’t make a habit of watching award shows, but we did catch most of the Tony Awards on Sunday night. We actually recorded it for some reason.
According to Wiki, “The Antoinette Perry Award for Excellence in Broadway Theatre, more commonly known as a Tony Award, recognizes excellence in live Broadway theatre.”
It was a bit wild, wacky, and risqué, with some fun parts and definitely some weird parts. The music was good, though, in general.
As we get older, the TV has to be turned up quite a bit most of the time, but one thing that was very noticeable with this show, it did not have to be overly loud.
