Scobey Male Golfers Going For 3 in a Row Next Week in Shelby

The State C three-peat is most definitely in play for the Scobey High School boys’ golf team as they tallied a 12-stroke victory Monday, May 11, at the East Divisional Meet at the Sidney Country Club course.

Now it is on to the big show, the Montana High School Association Class C State Meet in Shelby May 18-20, the first day of action a practice round and the following two 18-hole rounds, the real McCoy!

It was on the same Sidney Country Club course last season when the Spartans executed a 249-240—489 tally, which was 57-overpar. They defeated runnersup Manhattan Christian by seven strokes to capture their second consecutive Class C state championship.

Needless to say, they have their hearts—and their minds—set on making it three in a row!
