Lustre Christian Boys Show Very Well At Sidney

Not only did Johnslee Pierre of the Lustre Christian Lions track and field team win the long jump at last week’s Sidney Invitational, the senior established a new personal-best distance in the triple jump at 47 feet and 10.5 inches, which he also won!

In other words, he was ready to roll with the track and field postseason, which got underway Tuesday, May 12, in Glasgow when the District 3C Meet was held at Scottie Field (it was scheduled for later this week but was switched to this past Tuesday the 12th; the D.C. Leader learned of the switch when Scobey Head Coach Larry Henderson texted us at 1:27 p.m. on Monday, May 11, announcing the change, which he said was voted on by the District 3C schools).
