Scobey Schools Proposition Passes

In the May 5 Scobey School election there was only one issue on the mail-in ballot. The proposition to increase local taxes, raising a total of $15,000 for the general fund, passed.

Those in favor of passing the proposition were 283 and 110 were opposed.

There were 393 total votes cast. The total number does not reflect 38 invalid ballots that were sent back as undeliverable and 4 ballots which were rejected because they were not signed.
