GOLF — How to get to State: With MHSA golf for girls and boys now playing their regular-season rounds, here is a look at what it takes to qualify for the State C Meet in Shelby. To automatically advance, a boy golfer needs to shoot an 85 or lower and a girl golfer needs to score a 100 or lower. To qualify for the divisional tournament, a boy needs to have a 115 or lower and a girl needs to shoot a 130 or lower.

BASKETBALL — Bram to be a Battlin’ Bear: Bram Handran (SHS ‘26) has verbally committed to play basketball for the Rocky Mountain College Battlin’ Bears based in Billings, Montana. Handran helped the Scobey Spartans win the program’s sixth state basketball championship during the 2025-26 season (1979 in Class B while the other five, 19952011-2020-2021-2026, were in Class C).
