The Scobey Spartans have on their “possible” 2026 Montana High School Association golf schedule the Whitewater Invitational on Friday, April 10, on Marian Hills Golf Course in Malta starting at 10 a.m.

Possibly a go. Well then, how about the Culbertson Invitational in Glendive on Monday, April 13? Could be but...

The Wolf Point Invitational at Airport Golf Club southeast of the city on Friday, April 17, or Saturday, April18,at10a.m.?Maybe,if they get an invite, which they have not as of this writing.

Fairview Invitational on the Sidney Golf Club’s 18hole layout on Tuesday,April 21? Probably (unless it is raining, or worse yet, snowing).

Welcome to the Class C and Class B spring golf season in northeastern Montana, where the weather is more unpredictable than where one’s tee shot is going to settle on the fairway (or worse yet, off the fairway!).
