MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETINGS OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DANIELS COUNTY, MONTANA, HELD FEBRUARY 2, 3, AND 17, 2026.

REGULAR MEETING February 2, 9 o’clock a.m.

The Board met in regular session, Commissioners Thievin, Fladager and Linder were present with the clerk.

The meeting was called to order. Nicole Larson was in as an observer. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

Commissioner Linder made a motion to approve the agenda, Commissioner Fladager seconded the motion, all voted in favor, motion passed.

Commissioner Fladager made a motion to approve January 2026 minutes with the corrections. Commissioner Linder seconded the motion, all present voted in favor, motion passed.

The Board reviewed payroll for January 2026. Commissioner Fladager made a motion to approve January 31, 2026 payroll with the exception of Teilor Plante. Commissioner Linder seconded the motion, all present voted in favor, motion passed. Commissioner Fladager had questions on the hours on Teilor’s time card. Circumstances were discussed surrounding the extra hours. The Board called MACo legal department for guidance on what to do. They were advised that it would be best to just pay the hours, due to the confusion with the termination and the option to resign. Commissioner Linder made a motion to approve all payroll for January 31, 2026, Commissioner Fladager seconded the motion, all present voted in favor, motion passed.

The Board approved JV#s 8757-8759.
