Farmers Listen To Rainmaker–

An assemblage of about 30 farmers met at the Saddle Club last Saturday to hear Robert Taylor explain how rainfall can be artificially increased by use of silver iodide ground generators. He explained how certain weather conditions can be developed into rainfall, and how potentially small rains can be augmented into good soakers.

What concerned the persons present was to what extent they could expect to be served, and what guarantee they might have that they would be served. It was brought out that in Daniels County perhaps the most practical way to assure farmers here of performance would be to assemble all rain-increasing funds in escrow, to service Daniels County,...
