Successful Year For Museum, Work Continues
The Daniels County Museum Association reported a strong and productive year during its annual meeting held January 27 in Scobey, highlighting record revenue, major improvements to Pioneer Town and continued community support for preserving local history.
Board president Mike Thievin called the meeting to order at 7 p.m.
The financial report showed the museum in a healthy position. Total revenue for the year reached $182,076, exceeding budget projections by more than 56%. A particularly successful weekend combined the All-School Reunion, Friday Night Concert and Pioneer Days, drawing higher-thannormal traffic to the grounds. Board members credited business sponsors and local supporters for helping make events profitable.
