1950 Christmas Season Given Good Reports– A crescendo at the cash registers as the Christmas season reaches its climax in this community has the year 1950 already down in the books as one of successful commerce.

On the farm the yields in grains and livestock, which provide the base for all spending in this community, approached bumper proportions and have been reflected in wheat loans at the local bank greater than ever before - more than $1,100,000.
