MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETINGS OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DANIELS COUNTY, MONTANA, HELD NOVEMBER 3, 4, AND 17, 2025.

REGULAR MEETING November 3, 9 o’clock a.m.

The Board met in regular session, Commissioners Linder, Thievin and Fladager were present with the clerk.

The meeting was called to order. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

Commissioner Thievin made a motion to approve the agenda, Commissioner Fladager seconded the motion, all voted in favor, motion passed.

Commissioner Fladager made a motion to approve October minutes, Commissioner Thievin seconded the motion, all voted in favor, motion passed.

The Board approved October 2025 payroll.

The Board approved JV#’s 8737-8741.

The Board approved officer reports for October 2025.

Shawna Lowe, TAC Officer, met with the Board regarding personnel issues.

Logan Olson, County Attorney, met with the Board to submit a name for their consideration for a member of the Public Safety Commission. Commissioner Thievin made a motion to appoint Mikel P. Lund as the county’s representative for the Public Safety Commission, Commissioner Fladager seconded the motion, all present voted in favor, motion passed.

Tori Smith, representative of Verkada, a company for building security, met with the Board by zoom meeting. She had talked with the District Court Judge concerning building security in Sheridan and Roosevelt Counties as there is a small grant available for that purpose. She was wondering if Daniels County would be interested in any of the services they offer.

The Board asked Jim Jones, Landfill Supervisor, to be open on Mondays.
