TRACK AND FIELD — It has been exciting to follow along: Since the Daniels County Leader weekly newspaper swaps with the Sheridan County News ( SCN) weekly newspaper based in Plentywood at no cost to either for a very long time, it is more than fun to browse through the weekly edition of the SCN, as we always learn something new. One of the most exciting things to follow of late is the progress of the allweather track being built around Lincoln Field, where football is played on during the fall season. The oval track is in the process of being rebuilt from scratch, which means the Scobey Spartans will be making the short 42-mile, one-way trip east in the very near future.
