Taken from the unapproved minutes and reporter’s notes of the regular meeting of City Council, City of Scobey, Montana held Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at 8:30 a.m.

REGULAR MEETING Mayor Morgan Lekvold called the meeting to order with Councilmembers Brian French, Seth Axtman, Niki Larson, and Greg Crowder present. Nancy Lund, Hospital District, John Bach, Interstate Eng. Pastor Wade Turner, City Attorney Samatha Howard, PWD Steve Berreth, and Clerk Sonya M. Southland also attended.

Public Comment— Mayor Lekvold welcomed Pastor Turner.

John Bach reported that he may be engineering a water and sewer extension for the Fishell subdivision.

Public Works Report –

• PWD Berreth reported the hydrant flow tests were completed. It is now on gravity flow. The Flow numbers are lower than before the water main project. Discussion occurred about why the flow numbers would differ. Wyatt suggested that ISO needs to use these new numbers as the basis. Wyatt doesn’t feel there is anything more they can do to improve the scores. It was noted that DPRWA could increase flows in case of an emergency. We will wait to see the final ISO ratings.
