Prep Playoff Preview, Week 1

It is the Montana High School Association football playoffs and it begins on Friday, October 31.

With opening night beginning on Halloween, some kids might be deprived of their annual free-candy haul because dad and mom hauled them to a playoff game instead gathering free candy.

“Sorry kiddo, but we do have our priorities,” dad says to the lil’ fella with tears dripping down his face.

“I’m terribly sorry Suzy, but we just don’t have time for trick or treating this year as the Lewistown Golden Eagles are in town tonight to play our Sidney Eagles at Swanson Field at Lowman-Walton Sports Complex,” mom explains. “How can we miss that?”

If one is looking for a real treat this Halloween get yourself to a Montana High School Association football playoff game this weekend.

Just buy the kid a candy bar or two or five at the concession stand. Problem solved!
