Spartan Spikers Looking For Strong Finish

The Scobey girls’ varsity volleyball team won both of its matches in last week’s action, including an all-important District 1 conference match.

The Spartans (7-3 1C, 10-3 overall) began last week’s action with a nonconference match against the visiting Class B Wolf Point Wolves on Tuesday, October 14. The local girls executed the three-game sweep by outscoring the Wolves 25-6, 25-12, 25-5.

Two nights later on Thursday the 16th the Spartans hosted the Lustre Christian Lions in conference play.
