Lady Spartans Lose Conference Match To Very Good Mavs Team

The Scobey girls’ varsity volleyball team found it self in one tough match-up against the North Country Mavericks during Homecoming week in Spartanville.

In the end it was Saco-Whitewater-Hinsdale cooperative- agreement team heading home with a tight 3-1 conference victory.

Held Friday, October 3, in the Scobey School large gymnasium, the Mavericks pulled away from a tie at 2 and led by as much as six points before the Spartans tied it at 12 on a Chloe Handran blocked shot.
