MISCELLANEOUS — Who has the best sports mascot nickname in MHSA sports? The Great Falls Tribune recently took an online poll between August 8-15 of which asked this question: Who has the best mascot nickname in Montana High School Association sports? There were 3,670 votes cast and receiving the most were (drumroll please) the Glasgow Scotties with 890! Second placed was secured by the Great Falls High Bison with 798 and third was earned by C.M. Russell Rustlers with 590. In fourth was the Chinook Sugarbeeters, fifth the Nashua Porcupines and sixth the Havre Blue Ponies.
